I found a car through the Sam's Club program. I was quoted a price. The quoted price was not honored by Findlay Toyota. I had chosen a gold certified car. The salesman stated that the quote would not be honored because they had to make sure there was good tread on the tires. Since the quoted price was for a gold certified car, it made no sense that I would incur an additional fee for ensuring adequate tire tred. I see this as being a dishonest practice.
I made an appointment with Mr. Santos a week in advance to service the 2021 Silver Certified RAV4 XLE purchased in April. Appointment was scheduled for Oct 2 to resove some of the pending issues that needed their attention: multiple stains in each car seat (upholstery), scratches on both sides of the car, crumbs in the gap areas of the of the interior (console), etc. Mr. Fortunato already said that they will not fix the big scratch in the back, because it will cost too much money. The people are nice but they don't value your money like many other companies. Left me very disappointed with the work for quality I received.
Should not have to wait over two hrs for an oil change. No follow up.
This concerns the body side molding that was installed by Findlay Toyota. The molding was installed at the bottom of the doors where it does no good. I took the car to Findlay and they parked a car very near to mine. When they carefully opened the door of the parked car, they saw that the installed molding did absolutely no good to protect my car. I am asking for a refund for the parts and labor cost of the body side molding. If I don’t hear from Findlay soon, I will be escalating this complaint.
I’m just worried about the service of my truck, they check the tires due to a recall and the tires pressure it was the same as I left it, I asked if the pressure was taking care of and it wasn’t. No trust, years past I replaced the air filters before the service and afterwards they told me I needed new air filters. Are they checking the vehicles? This is concerning don’t you think? Up charged me for shop rags? What’s next I’m i going to be charged for the tools used on my vehicle as well?. Then charge was added for my free oil change then took it off of the total price why have it included in the first place? Findlay’s the worst dealership I’ve dealt with of all the dealerships I’ve been to. The waiting room is loud and busy as opposed to quiet and relaxing. The lack of accommodations is unlike any other dealership experience I’ve had. No complimentary carwash, no complimentary loaner car when the service is expected to be longer than 2-3 hours. And salesmen approach you like sharks when you’re in the waiting lounge. And even the snacks are sold, not complimentary.
