I saved over $300.00 on new parts. They were less than the shop would have charged me for remanufactured parts. Shipment arrived on the day promised. I plan to buy again in the future.
Good Luck when you get a bad compressor. Keep you on hold then disconnect. Question how it was installed. Found out that they had a high number of this model compressor fail. They will replace the compressor now I have to buy all the other parts and pay a 2nd time for installation. This due to a junk a/c unit.
i`m working outdoors so i waited for warmer weather.the repair went well,it took three hours from start to finish.thh only trouble i had was removing the orifice tube,i had to spray with liquid wrench to get it loose,not a problem i had to flush the system anyway.seem to be working well right now.thank you
I received the wrong compressor from the warehouse and called the same day to ask for an exchange, It took three days but I finally was helped by Johnathan and worked out the problem and sent me the new part overnight.
Wow..What junk they sell. Bought a compressor, had my ASE Certified mechanic install. Unit lasted a week and started leaking. Contacted Discount AC Parts. They did not want to stand behind the product. I had to go to the supplier and get a receipt where my mechanic bought a dryer to prove one was installed when compressor was swapped. They sent a replacement when I paid an up front deposit. Replacement was installed. I had to pay labor again along with purchasing another dryer. Air was never really cold. Mailed parts to wrong address. Sent the wong parts. No weekend support.
This company has spent a lot of time trying to convince you they are the end all to be all. I ordered a kit for a van with front and rear air. I got the system and it was package very well. The compressor was filled with oil and needed to be drained. It already had o ring and was sealed. Do not use the O rings int he kit. I was told the kit contained everything I needed to make the repair and have a full warranty.
