Overall disappointed in so-called customer service policies. Not only was i sent the WRONG PART for my 2008 Mustang, but they were unwilling to take the item back or workout an exchange for another part for another project on i was needing on my car. The part was brand new and unused, but still unwilling to work with the customer, due to so-called service policy. I will never do business with this group again.
make sure you do not mind having Chinese parts. They NO WHERE tell you that the UAC AC compressor (their biggest and main seller) is made in China. They spend all their time praising themselves about how other companies are fly-by-night, rebuilding or making AC parts in their Garage and that the picture they are showing you is the EXACT part you need for your car (watch that play on words ( it may be the part exactly for your vehicle but it is not necessarily the part you will get!!!) Glad I found this place on-line. Local repair shop quoted $1200.00 for a/c compressor replacement and charges the system. With discount a/c parts, I had a total of $550.00 with another garage installing and charging system!
All parts work. A/C blows cold air after evac & recharge.
I order a drive shaft for my bmw x3- in conversing with Scott (sales rep) he informed me that the item came with a flex disk and could get the item to me in 2 days. The drive shaft came and I did not see the flex disk. I had an appointment set with the mechanic for the Sat we at Thursday with missing items. I called the company and explained the situation. Ordering replacement parts for a 25 year old vehicle will never be easy. My objective was to work with staff and eventually we would succeed. We did!
Completely dishonest with no customer satisfaction what-so-every. Should not be allowed to do business at all. Order compressor by number. Exact picture not available. Sent me a new one with no manifold which I need. Did not make me aware of this. Want more MONEY UP FRONT to send another. They do not seem concerned they screwed up by not telling me " out of Stock so I could buy elsewhere. Customer Service called and we resolved issue
Sent a defective compressor...when we hooked it up, it immediately blew the fuse. Tried again...immediately blew the fuse again....the unit never turned on. Company would not refund claiming the condenser/drier unit wasn't replaced simultaneously. No fluid ever traveled through the Discount AC parts compressor causing it to fail...it was shipped with a dead short. Bought a junkyard compressor and it works great...no problems. Buyer beware
