I have no regrets about the purchase. I was unable to obtain a phone number to speak with a technician to find out how much oil I needed to put in the unit.

When I placed my order I couldn't believe the cost and felt there was a catch. After installing the compressor and the related parts, I know that they will continue to get my business. I placed an order online 9-5-2011. After a week no order arrived. So I called the 800 number after 5 to 8 min. a rep came on line. He informed me there was a problem with my credit card number and I had been e-mailed about the problem. I had received no e-mail. When I gave him my credit card number again he told me it wasn`t anything like what they had. But I could see on the order the last 4 numbers that they showed were correct. I will never do bussiness with this company again! I have been hung up on twice, called a liar and totally disrespected! I paid for 2 day shipping, got it 6 days later. BUYERS BEWARE!!

my compressor had 2 electrical connections the replacement had 1 I called to find out what to do and there was a lack of communication between me and the rep on the other end but Eric the sales manager called me back and we got it figured out.

I recently purchased an air conditioner kit for a 2000 chevy blazer. it all went well until the kit arrived at my home..I found out that the A/C compressor has a flaw in it.. So I called the customer service of Discount AC Parts.. The person I spoke to immediately told me he was not a mechinc..and he knew nothing about how to install the compressor..I had asked to speak to someone who did....and nothing ...he may have been a complete idiot ..I have no idea and don't care to know I still have the ac unit and am having it chec... read more

My A. C. went out in my 1997 Chevey Truck over a year ago. I took it to a well known auto repair shop and was told it would cost me $1500.00 or more to put in a new one. As I did not have that kind of money at the time. I told them I would have to wait. A friend of mind told me about a lady who had purchased a A. C. for her car on line. It cost her $100.00. UPDATE: After having my mechanic find out that the clutch was damaged in delivery (see below for more details) I called the company to get a replacement. I was told that I had to wait for mine to be shipped back to receive a new one. The customer service guy would not let me speak to a manager. He asked me what he could do and I told him I needed a new one shipped to me and he said no, and would not let me speak to a manager.
