"We ordered our parts on December 1st, we paid for overnight shipping. As of this morning, December 3rd, we still have not received notice of the item being shipped. The funds have been deducted from our account. I called and spoke with a customer service person, after being on hold for 15 minutes, and was told we ordered our part after their cut off time. "This store deserves zero stars. After waiting 1 day after i purchased the parts I was notified by UPS that I owed them money. For some reason BUY AUTO PARTS FAILED to notify that my payment had not gone through. I needed the parts ASAP and because they are located in San Diego i decided to buy from them thinking my ETA would be no later than 1 day as promised by their employee FRANCISCO. Please save yourself a headache and buy somewhere else. At this point I will buy locally where I can get better customer service. "
"Purchased a fuel pump for 2004 Range Rover. First one failed within 2 days, they sent me a replacement which failing within 6 weeks. Twice bitten I decided to buy the part elsewhere and sought a refund only to find out they wanted to charge me a restocking fee for the failed pump. Thats right, they charge a restocking fee (and presumably restock) parts which are broken or have failed. This would certainly make sense. "On October 12th 2015 I contacted your customer service reference to the return of a core which was over due. I spoke to Calan who discussed with his supervisor Ryan if an exception could be made due to unfortunate circumstances to return the core for the full refund of $200.00. I was told that due to the fact it was not returned in a timely matter that only $150.00 could be returned. "Ordered a steering rack that did not include magnasteer wire sensor. When I removed the rack, then realized that the rack needed the magnasteer wire. Called customer support and was told I was going to be charged 15% restocking fee, shipping fee for original delivery of wrong rack as well as shipping fee to return. "My original order (#89082590) was placed on 10/2 & I was shipping to my son in a different state & the order was held until I confirmed the shipping address. At that point I was told that the order would ship that day which was 10/7. "Parts match well, quality of product only time will tell, will update if i can. Price was excellent. Delivery address was botched up and no one at Buy Auto Parts could explain why. I know for sure that there was no mistake made on my end because my paypal address was confirmed with the purchase. Dan, phone customer service was able to correct the mistake right away.
