My car was at Toyota for over a month and they claimed they couldn’t hear the noise I explained. I went to pick up my car and the very first time I started my car, it made the noise I was explaining! You’re telling me it didn’t do that for an entire month!? No chance. I also gave them a video of the squeak it was making as I was driving. Again, they say they didn’t hear anything. I have a video of me driving my car the day I picked it up with the xxxx squeak! Absolutely terrible.
Recieved a text showing my cabin filter and requesting the ok to replace it. I decided against that since I'm currently unemployed and need to budget. I opted for a filter from Amazon which was delivered the next day. At a cost of 25% of the dealers offering. So I change out the filter which takes me under 2 minutes, and I really couldn't believe my eyes when I see that the tech literally put the dirty filter back, leaves and all, into the truck. This is my third car at Findlay and service has always been adequate. At times excellent and at times poor. Shaun (Service Advisor) is new to me and is very nice. I have always used Xavier Walker and am so sorry to hear about his accident. I hope he recovers soon. But now for my comments on this service. All went well until I went to retrieve my car at the cashier's desk. That's when I found out that things changed and now the service advisor takes payments when service is finished. My problem was not resolved. The issue of adaptive cruise control braking with either a vehicle on the right or that pulls over to the right only happens on highway. The dealership did a 16 mile test drive that for no good reason included local roads. This issue is not trivial: unexpected and unnecessary braking when a vehicle pulls off to the right could cause a vehicle behind to hit my car. I am very disappointed that the dealership wasted time with testing on local roads as I informed them this is a highway only issue.
Findlay Toyota is the only venue I receive oil changes from for our 2004 Toyota Camry LE. My complaint is that I had to pay almost $800 to replace a stripped oil pan screw due to it being stripped. I do appreciate very much that your management provided me a discount for the services rendered. However, it was a Finlay Toyota technician who changed the oil previously and was the last person to handle that stripped screw. I am very disappointed on this dealership. Jonathan was not an hones and transparent salesperson. It disgusts me that people can be that money hungry to sell a car. I "bought" a car on July 29th, put a down payment and signed the documents of purchase. Aaron Sanchez then contacted me that I needed to fill out another set of paperwork and sign another contract. I hate having to put 15 words minimum in anything. I think this app for your grading is terrible. The service is good, but this app is terrible.
I don't know what to think. I am still in shock that my Prius wasn't good for more than 106,000 miles and I now have a more than $900 car payment for a tacoma. My car payment and insurance payment is more than my house mortgage. How can I be happy about this. Yes, the salesmen were nice but I have to live with this for years.
