Unethical, unprofessional Company! Bryant Heating & Cooling Co in Louisville, KY We scheduled three companies, including Bryant, to come over and inspect our AC unit a few days ago. Bryant was the first one to arrive and said we needed a new AC unit that would cost around $6,000 or pay $3,000 for cleaning out the compressor. Of course, we wanted a second opinion. No Call/No Show for a 9 am - 12 pm appointment. I called the office at noon and was told they would arrive sometime during the day. . .no call to tell me they were running late and fairly nonchalant about the inconvenience. I cancelled.

I needed to replace my HVAC system and decided to give them a try. They were spot on in scheduling an appointment and arrived as scheduled. When it came time for the quote, I was told $7700. I told him that I was still gathering information but would be in touch. Later that day, I texted the rep and asked him to email me the quote. They may have great service but you are going to pay dearly for it. My draft inducer went out on my gas furnace and I called Bryant to confirm the problem. This was on a Sunday and they were out within three hours. The technician confirmed my issue and said it would cost over$900 to replace it. He stated however since my furnace was so old that it needs replaced and I probably wouldn't even be able to find the part. I would not recommend this company for anything don't stand behind their work let company installed 2 damper boxes in attic 2 month ago and now heating and furnace staying on and I sign up for service plan with them also so they tell me it could be something else wrong want more money, they can keep service plan money and all can't work on nothing for me need to be out of business!!

My 2001 air handler died so I was in the market for a new HVAC system. Bryant's quote came in around $13,000 so I decided to check it with a quote from another place in town before buying it. After looking at 5 other companies the range for their quotes were $5,000 - $9,000. I was shocked, I have no idea how anyone would purchase anything from Bryant Heating & Cooling. PSA: Always get multiple quotes for your home projects!

I had the same situation. My board was burned out and the man from Bryant said since my unit was 2005 I should have it replaced. The cheapest Carrier air conditioner would be $7000. If they replaced the heater it would be another $3000. They came out, took my check, but didn't install the ductwork to the air conditioner. They said they forgot to bring it, but someone would come out and install it later. A week later and two phone calls later no one has come or called back.

I do not recommend using this company. My grandmother is 85 years old with COPD. She made an appointment for them to come out because her A/C was not putting out air. It is in the 90's today and very warm in her house. At first they said that they would be out around 6pm then they changed it to 8pm then changed it to 9pm and then finally said they could not come out until the next day. She told them multiple times about her condition. This is unacceptable service.

I gave 2 stars because I didn't actually receive the service so I do not really know if they would do a good job or not. In fact I am sure they probably would but I feel like they might rob you blind while they are at it. I have an old HVAC system and for a few years now I have been having to put new freon in it each summer because I have a slight leak. Since my system is old I have to use the R22 freon which is quickly being phased out. Yes, it is harder to come by for this reason and it definitely costs more. I had an a... read more
