Horrible!!! Within five minutes of looking at my outdoor unit, I was told my compressor was locked up and he wouldn't be able to tell if that was the problem unless he put $500 worth of parts on. Even then, he said, 9 times out of 10, that's not the problem and I'll be stuck with the parts. He then proceeded to glance at the indoor portion of the unit, and "bet me a hundred bucks it's all rusted out in there". Didn't bother checking! We chose Bryant because we had heard good things from some friends. We were in for quite a surprise! Our AC went out and we had a technician scheduled who later cancelled. We rescheduled for the next day and the technician was 2 hours late. He recommended that we needed a new compressor ($2200). We just purchased the home and had a one year home warranty that would cover such an expense. I just realized I forgot to mention in my initial post that we cannot get an itemized bill from these people to show where the $8300.00 is. Just a generic receipt with no explanation other than replace unit. Also, the neighbor I mentioned that I seen this uhh company at said they also told her she would need to change her entire electrical panel and I wish I could recall the reason why they said but, my father-in-law is a retired master electrician and we also have an electrical inspector in the family who say there is absol... read more

Bryant Heating & Cooling was quite polite on the phone and did offer to come for same-day service when our A/C was not working. The technician was 30 minutes late for the 12-3 service window and stayed approximately 15 minutes. In that time he suggested we needed a new compressor (at ~$2,200) or a new unit altogether (~$7,000) because the unit was a builder's grade and 10 years old. Will they fix your AC? Yeah. Will they overcharge? Yeah. Will they show up when they're supposed to? No. Will they keep verbal appointments? No. Will they call when they're running late? No. Basically- really sh!tty customer service.

WARNING!!!WARNING!!!I contacted Bryant Heating on 2/27/11 concerning my aunts heating unit not working and made an appointment for service the following day between the hours of 9am-noon.At 10:00am the next day(2/28/11) Bob Paxston(tech)contacted me by phone and informed me that he and Jason (another tech)had found the source of the problem which was a bad thermostat and burnt wiring.
