Convenient location, not the best in regards to facilities and probably not worth the price, but overall we had a positi Facilities were very outdated. Paint was peeling off the ceiling, the shelves next to bed were practically ripped out, and the air conditioning was LOUD. We came for Oceans Calling festival, and the location was great. We were able to walk to the festival, didn’t have to worry about parking or driving anywhere, and spent many mornings before the festival on the boardwalk or on the beach.
Price gouging left me feeling like I got taken. Price gouging. Festival pricing for the room was 9X the in-season rate. I booked the room because booking.com showed it as 4.3 stars and a 7.8 out of 10 on their grading scale. What they failed to say was that the stars and overall rating were based on paying $70 a night for this teeny room with no frills. Bad They have hidden fee charges when u show up to check in . Close to the beach
Not as expected Our room, particularly the bathroom, was not clean. The distance from the beach
The location was great, ventilation in bathroom should be added to prevent continued mold build up There was no fan in the bathroom and you could see black mold growing between the wall/ceiling above the toilet. It also wasn't the most clean. There was a weird brown powdery substance on the wall above the toilet. Even though the staff were kind and cooperative, I would not stay at your hotel again. Neighbors were loud, frequently yelling outside. I asked them to keep the noise down, and they were yelling at me to "mind my own business". I did not report them to the front desk, because I didn't want to escalate the situation. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, plus, a good location.
Fair The bed wasn't comfortable. You could hear everything through the walls. There isn't a place to sit in the room besides the bed. The a/c was very loud turning on and off. The staff was nice and the room was clean.
Very Poor
Expected a lot better! Dirty toilet, non functioning TV, dirty floor. We were placed in a separate building 2 blocks away.
