I love Mcgehee. I think the Students are given great opportunities to learn here. Students also can easily form tight bonds with both classmates and teachers.

I went to McGehee for the majority of my life thus far. Personally I enjoyed most of my experiences here, however in recent years there has been a decline. It has become clear that they are a business first and a school second. They preach diversity and inclusion but ignore racist and homophobic actions committed by students. The faculty is amazing and are very encouraging and supportive of students, however the administration is very disconnected from their student experience.

McGehee has been a true blessing for our daughter. McGehee's campus has offered a second home to learn and grow; one which has allowed our daughter to set her own pace while challenging her curiosity in a safe and healthy environment. The faculty and staff at McGehee unite beautifully to help our girls (today) become leaders of tomorrow.

We love the community at McGehee. The faculty and staff love my daughter like she is their own. The small class sizes allow for more individualized learning and the enthusiasm the teachers have is amazing. When I drop my daughter off in carpool no matter who opens our car door for her she is greeted by name and with the warmest welcome, (and most of the time a hug) which is a great start to her day. Administration is very involved and invested in the success of every student. They’re easy to talk to and readily available to assist with any issues. Wonderful environment that supports and encourage individuality and diversity.

Excellent school for my two girls! It is an encouraging yet rigorous learning environment that is instilling a love for learning in all students. The administration is organized and well-prepared, but always looking for feedback and willing to make changes to stay current.

McGehee is an awesome school! My teachers are always there to help me. They have the best history department in the city! Juniors are taken to Washington D.C. every year while studying government. The drama teacher is also extremely enthusiastic and caring. She puts her whole heart into our productions. I built a strong relationship with my advisor because we have the same one throughout high school. She is always there to give us advice, or just listen sometimes. My daughter attends Louise McGehee, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. McGehee is truly a school that fosters the whole girl. The teachers are very supportive and understanding to suit individual needs of the girls. I am excited that my daughter gets to build her foundation there! You can’t go wrong with McGehee.

McGehee School hd been the best experience for both me as a parent and my daughters. The academic, athletic and extracurricular opportunities are endless. There is no other school that can compare for our daughter’s education.
