Our A/C went out on Monday morning. Tech showed up in afternoon and replaced capacitor (3rd time) and contactor (2nd) to discover compressor was bad. No repair possible until Friday (outside temps in 90s/inside temps in 80s). A “warranty” repair, I verified on Thursday we were first job on Friday (9AM). Friday at 10AM I called and was informed the tech would be on their way at 10:30 and would notify us when they were on their way. One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had in my life. Air conditioning went out in my home a little over a year ago, took them almost two months to replace and "fix" the problem and it still doesn't work today. I responded to an ad from Bryant for an $80.00 cleaning and check of system. My heating and cooling system was working great, I just wanted to take advantage of the cleaning special which was also advertised as a guarantee. The tech said he could not clean the ac unit due to the fact that I had no outside water spigot. I hooked his water hose up to my inside washing machine outlet so he could clean the unit. We called Bryant Electric to replace a ceiling fan in our home. The company would not give us an estimate, saying they would have to see what needed to be done. The supervisor came out and replaced the fan. Work was slow, but got the job done. The price for this turned out to be $492, which, according to the supervisor, included an 18% military discount. My experience with Bryant has been poor. The heat stopped working & I called Bryant to look at the thermostat they replaced in February. The tech arrived promptly and looked at the thermostat and then went into the crawl space to inspect the furnace. His diagnosis was a blown fuse due to a "board" that needed replacement. He also found a kink in the copper pipe carrying the freon. I have used Bryant’s for all of my plumbing and heating needs for many years with no problems - but this time I feel I was taken advantage of - it cost me $348.00 to clear a bathtub clog which took about 30 minutes.

This is the first time I have encountered a Technician's refusal to wear a mask.(I had explained why I needed him to wear a mask)..the Technician proceeded name off his aliments that had nothing to do with wearing a mask....he was rude and wanted to argue with me when I sprayed lysol, he refused to finish the job and said he was going to tell the office that I was refusing to pay. Do NOT use Bryant as your HVAC company. The service and support that I have received on the almost $15,000 system that I purchased last year has been horrible. In the last five weeks, "technicians" have been to my house at least seven times to try and fix a leak. Each time they came, they assured me that it was fixed, only to find that my AC would fail time and again. Most leaks were caused by the “technicians”. This is my 2nd review and it's not good either. We bought a BRAND NEW HEAT PUMP FROM BRYANT HEATING AND AIR and it ain't hasn't worked right ever.
