My daughter and I came in so she could buy HER first car. The salesman constantly was talking to me, not her, with questions and comments. I was neither the purchaser nor the decision-maker. My daughter found this highly disrespectful and refused to return to check out future cars. Service is outrageously expensive compared to local mechanics. When I think of how Page Honda treated us, the word that comes to mind is “scummy.” My wife and I bought a Prius here and literally ten minutes off the lot my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree and the air conditioning went out (lovely on a 95 degree day). Before I got home, I also got a dashboard light for the brake system. As of now, only one star. Initially, thought it was like 4 stars, maybe 5. I had to go with one star because we purchased a used CRV from Page Honda - a 2008 to be exact. They (Page Honda) replaced the radiator prior to our purchase, but while the car was still on their lot. Less than 600 miles after the purchase, the bottom hose on the radiator came off causing a catastrophic failure. The reason it came off? Worn clamp. Another scummy dealer charging markup. 7k over for the Type R listed. The dealer using shady tactics to get you in the door to "discuss" pricing, it was only when I pressured them that the price was given. This was after they alhad repeatedly try to inform it was MSRP. Look elsewhere folks!
I have had my car serviced with Page Honda for a little over year, and while my previous experiences with them have been fine, my most recent experience was not good at all. I scheduled an appointment with the option to wait for my vehicle (as I typically do). In the past, I show up as scheduled, they look at my car, and I wait (1.5 hours, 3 hours maximum). It’s hard for to review this dealership as my last trip is my last trip. Tuesday, I took it in for a broken door lock, waiting 2 ½ hours. I had to pay $145 for the diagnosis and the part was ordered for $58. I do not feel it was even taken apart, they just guessed at what it was. Wednesday, waiting another 2 ½ hours, they installed it, with a total bill for $540. It did not fix it. They looked at it again and said it was the harness, which they would have to order. I have had 2 bad experiences with Page Honda. I purchased a used 2012 Impala from them in April 2021. They increased the price, over the agreed amount, by $500 at the time of purchase. When I questioned them on it they told me that the extra money was for cleaning. I had been in the car already and NO ADDITIONAL CLEANING had been done. I also had a bad experience with their service department. I was quoted one price by one service rep and it was increased when I spoke with a second rep.
Bad oil change service. I did the oil change at Page Honda 3 days ago. I waited three for around 3.5 hours there, although I had a 8AM appointment. Today (3days after oil change), I checked the engine oil and they are still dirty (brown color). The service department lied! After oil change, they told me the rear brake pads have only 2mm left and shall be changed, as well as the rotors, with a quota of $511.
