I wasn't sure about the parts because they were MUCH cheaper than Acura - less than half. The online purchase was a snap, the part was delivered to my mechanic at Firestone who liked what he saw and told me they would be using Discount AC themselves.

I am self-employed as a mobile auto mechanic. I have ordered and/or directed my customers to order their AC parts thru Discount AC Parts a number of times now. They have always had the parts I need, the best prices online, and have delivered the correct parts in a timely manner as promised. Ordered an a/c compressor kit for a 2006 Jeep Liberty. The kit contained the compressor, o-rings/gaskets, compressor oil, drier and orifice tube. Problem is the orifice tube is not something you can physically install. It is sealed in the A/C liquid line. You MUST buy the line. I called to let them know so they could note this and at least tell customers what they would need. Was an extra $50 at a parts store. The sales person acted like he could care less whether they had this information. When I told him...all he said was ... read more
