The ordering process was very quick and painless and it shipped the same day. Only 2 things went wrong and only one involved the company. When my mechanic (certified SAAB guy) went to install the a/c compressor, he put it all together and it leaked. Once he uninstalled & compared- he saw that the mounting bolt was a good ¼" too long so it would not pull tight enough to seal. I would like to say what great help Discount AC Parts are. I specifically would like to praise the help from Jonathan who provided great customer service and knowledge on my car's issue. He was the one that informed me about Honda CRVs "black death" and pointed me to research it (07/27/11) more before purchasing the AC parts I needed. This web site was great. I got a brand new a/c compressor with clutch for less than half of what any of the major auto parts stores charge. The money I was saving was great so I let the auto shop install it for me for $162 and change and I still saved overall. Compressor went in my wifes SUV and is working great. I recieved the compressor that same week and only used the regular ground shipping. Plus shipping was free. Made my wife happy since she was going out of town and really wanted a/c. Out of the 4 places I called Discount AC was the only ones that actually had the ac compressor in stock. Everyone else said in stock on their site but when you call they are all on backorder. Not only did they have it in stock but Bill was very helpfull in explaining the differences between new and reman compressors. Then went on to give me a great deal on a new one. 5-stars all across the board.
