Dr. Mong is a treasure, I'm so happy I found him. I had cataract surgery several years ago in another state and was noticing I was not seeing things as clearly as before. Dr. Mong performed a laser procedure on each eyes, and what a difference! He and his staff at his Meridian office and his place of surgery are fantastic. They are welcoming, helpful, and most important don't rush to get you out the door.
I had a terrible time communicating with her. It didn’t seem like she wanted to hear from me about what was going on as my treatment progressed. She said she told me things about my treatments but I know she didn’t. She was always in a hurry and didn’t take the time to treat me on a personal basis. I will not be going back to her.
After the examination Dr. Mong could not find any reason for my vision defect. He mentioned the word “stroke” multiple times and ordered a brain MRI. I had that done (which cost me 900 Dollars), the MRI came back clear according to the radiologist. After having called Dr. Mong’s office three times to have him tell me his interpretation, a staff member called back and repeated the radiology report.
