Dr. Mong did cataract surgery on both of my eyes. He and his staff were wonderful.
I was looking for a new optometrist and Dr. Stephen Reinschmidt at Vision Quest Medical in Boise was recommended to me by a friend. He had a friendly bedside manner and explained with great clarity each step in the process of my eye exam - that is the first time anyone has ever explained to me the "why" behind all those tests they do! Overall, it was a great experience. The entire appointment took around 30 minutes - very efficient, yet informative.
Great place! I would highly recommend them to family and friends in the area. Stephen and the rest of the staff were very friendly and professional!
I was having a few eye issues and was worried that I might be at the first stage of cataracts. After a meeting with Dr. Mong he assured me that no operation was needed, at this time, and the effect I was having was possibly temporary floaters. I was greatly relieved that his honesty and being thorough with me is settling my concerns about my eye sight.
I can't help but believe that if 500 people left a review there would be 500 5 stars. My husband had tri focal cataract surgery lens implants and is seeing 20/15. NO MORE GLASSES! Doctor Mong is a perfectionist. His staff made us feel so comfortable and they have great senses of humor. We could not be more thrilled with his skills and care.
I was pleased with his communication skills and was extremely efficient. His staff from start to finish was outstanding. He operates his facility in a way that makes this Republican smile. More like him and we can fix how bloated, slow, medical system.
Dr Mong is very thorough, knowledgeable and listens to his patient's concerns. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an ophthalmologist. You will leave well versed in your condition and your care options.
