I have been with u-stor 10 years now. I have loved management as they have changed thru the years. I am currently cleaning out my unit and like countless times in previous years my items are all ruined with mold and bird poop. literally....half my unit is molded. I brought attention to the management years ago on this and should have left then. It is my fault I didn't go with somewhere climate controlled. I am heart broken so many personal items and keepsakes are truly just trash now.
Fix your website so people can pay their bills and not be charged late fees!!!
No stars. 0/10. Horrible customer service. Unprofessional, rude. Do not trust them to store your belongings. Manager likes to cuss at customers.
been using them for several months. haven't had any issues until we needed to upgrade to a larger unit. they didn't have any so we had to take our stuff to another place. we accidentally left our surround sound speakers next to our unit. remembered immediately and turned our car around. wasn't gone but maybe 10 minutes tops. they threw the speakers in the trash and broke them. they are worth at least a thousand dollars. ive been a customer for years, and never had much complaint, but recently some changes are being implemented that dont work for me as well.
Super unfriendly staff at west 56th location. I clearly interrupted her cigarette when I went in with questions about the facility. She was so stand-offish that when she asked what EXACTLY I would be storing, I said "nothing here". I did have a great experience at another PS facility nearby.
We were not able to get into the U-Store this past weekend. We had people come up from Bedford to pick up some items and they had to turn back around and drive another 1 1/2 hours home. We were there for over an hour trying to get access thru the gate. We were not the only ones having problems either. Another car came thru and could not get their code to work either. There needs to be an emergency # to contact when the system fails. Good money is being paid to gain 24/7 access so this should never occur.
