Hawaii Shark Encounters gives you the opportunity to experience the thrill of meeting sharks face to face in the pristine waters of Oahu. We take you three miles offshore, where you can observe Galapagos and Sandbar sharks in their natural environment from the safety of a floating cage. No scuba experience is necessary -- you enter the cage from above and stay on the surface using a mask and snorkel. RecommendedA surreal life experience. Did this excursion as part of birthday celebration for my husband. Hawaii Shark encounters was great with updating on sooner availabilty when cancellations occurred and were very knowledgeable. We were privileged enough to have a female tiger shark stop by along with some galapagos sharks and hang out around the cage. Truly humbling experience. 12/10 would do again....maybe outside the cage next time 🦈🦈

We are a family of 10 who really enjoyed our excursion. Although 3 of us chose not to go in the tank, they had just as much fun on the 20 min ride out to the cage and the ability to see the sharks from the boat. Highly recommend for a fun two hours.
