RecommendedI absolutely can not say enough good things about Gen-y. This is truly the last hitch you will ever buy. It is extremely well made. I never have to worry about what is hooked up to it, from small dump trailers to large offshore powerboats. With that being said. I had a small issue with part of the hitch after 4-5 years of abuse, I reached out to Aaron and his team and they took care of it immediately. Really superior product and customer service to match.
RecommendedCouple of months ago I travelled from AL to Elkhart, IN to pick up my new Luxe Toy Hauler. I had ordered it with a Gen-Y @genyhitch 5th to Goose Hitch. This hitch attaches to the 5th wheel frame like a standard pin box but has a gooseneck connection. The two are coupled together using the Gen-Y Torsion Technology. Absolutely love the hitch now that the guys at Gen-Y saved the day for me. So what was the problem? RecommendedUp graded my gen-y hitch to work with equalizer bars and wow is the truck riding smooth now can’t believe the difference!
RecommendedI’ve recently switched from a long wheel base F-550 to a Shorter wheel base F-350 4x4 and noticed the jolting and clatter from my trailer . My truck & trailer combo is usually 27,000 lbs on average so fuel mileage is not a factor for me but I have noticed an immediate difference in how much smoother my ride is ... very nice and I recommend it to anyone that tows equipment on a daily bases👍🏽
RecommendedHad some jacka*s rear end my truck at about 20mph or so while I was sitting at a red light. My damage? My 7” drop mega duty hitch with a step had a slight bend in one side of the step. His damage? Well, it looked like his bumper just came out of a shredder. 10/10 recommend
RecommendedThough I haven’t yet had the pleasure of making use of the torsion 16 k I bought from them I can say that these hitches are absolutely no joke at all! They are massive, heavy, and incredibly over engineered to the point that they look like they would survive a nuclear apocalypse!
