I was told that my gas fireplace had to be replaced. I called GasFix for a second opinion. Scott came out for an inspection and advised me what had to be done & needless to say, it did not involve a new fireplace. I went ahead and booked them for the repairs & elated that I did. They are professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable & take pride in what they do. Thank you Scott and Dwayne ! It was a pleasure dealing with you.
Needed a new blower motor on Pool Heater and gas fireplace repaired. Joe on first visit and Dwayne for repair were professional, explaining what needed to be done, efficient, polite and clean. Would highly recommend them.
Scott was very knowledgeable in assessing how and why water got in through our fireplace vent during a storm. He was able to custom-build a metal flange to install over the existing outside vent to provide further protection from the rain. Dwayne came out to do the installation of this flange and to clean the fireplace. Both Scott and Dwayne provided excellent service. I will definitely use them again.
I would highly recommend Gasfix for your pool heater repair. Joe showed up on time as scheduled and was very good at locating and explaining the problem. He also provided me with helpful tips on the pool heater that I was not aware of. The company is very honest and did not try to get me to purchase/repair things that I did not need.
Scott installed our new pool heater on June 17, 2014 after Duane quickly analyzed the issues with the old heater. Both Duane, Scott and the apprentice worked quickly and efficiently and were very courteous. Their knowledge was top-notch and you could tell they liked their jobs and placed customer service and satisfaction as top priorities. Great job!!
GasFix technicians Joe and Scott on two separate occasions did work on my gas heater. They were very patient answering all my questions and really knew what they were doing. They left a very clean work space as well. They were knowledgeable and friendly and I would certainly use them again!
Gas technician Dwayne arrived on time with a pleasant attitude.he got to work immediately on my pool heater and later explained everything that was wrong with the unit.Dwayne then went to great lengths to carefully explain all of my options.I was impressed with his knowledge of the pool heater.I informed Dwayne I would mull over all the information and get back to him .I learned more about my pool heater from his vist than I have from 13 years I have owned it. well done GASFIX
Scott and crew at Gas Fix are knowledgeable, dependable and reasonable. They have serviced our gas fireplace and pool heater with excellent results. Always on time and they have the parts on hand which helps get them in and out very quickly. No delays with Gas Fix. Highly recommended.
I had a disreputable contractor install a Montigo Gas Fireplace in my basement. Not only was the venting dangerous, the unit itself would not light on a consistent basis. After fixing the vents, I spent weeks badgering Montigo for a solution. Their distribution centre suggested I call Scott at Gas Fix. He fixed the problems with the ignition, advised on how to better clean our glass and now the unit works properly.
