I had been to imagine that many years ago when my school took the four year old and five year old classes. I recently went on Sunday and wow what a drastic change. I think the overall idea is great for a place like that however the new Renovations I find to be unsuccessful for early Learners infants and toddlers. The wide open space does not allow the children the opportunity to focus on one activity at a time. It is very over-stimulating for a typically developing child I can't imagine how a child who has attention deficit ... read more
Was extremely disappointed with our visit today. We realize due to holiday break that all places could be busy. There was no parking available in the parking lot. Had to wait for people to leave to find a spot. That should have been a good sign to leave. Upon paying at the door there was no organization. We could have easily walked in without paying. I was sitting at a table and watched guests come in and stand at the register for over 5 minutes to pay....no one was at the register (mind you the woman told us she was a... read more
I was very disappointed. Although recently refurbished The exhibits are limited and the items are worn. I am sure it is difficult to maintain with the numbers of children that use the museum. There is no security. Children and adults can walk in and out freely.
I'm not a fan of the remodel. It's completely open concept but the areas are so much smaller. It's ideal for under 5 years old now, IF you can keep your child from being distracted by everything going on around them. It's kind of like a huge pre-k classroom with centers, but not the areas are so small it's not exactly worth the increased admission price. Not bad, but not great either. Just meh 😐 hope this isn't the final result of the renovation. On another note, was pleased to see staff tidying up areas regularly, ma... read more
Called on Friday, March 2nd asking if the price was for all day, ie could we come in the morning, leave to have lunch then come back later. The manager told me that this was not possible, that if we wanted lunch we could eat in their cafe. Asked about healthy options in the cafe- was told that they served chicken nuggets, hot dogs, pretzels etc. The entrance fee is already so expensive- we were 2 adults and 1 child, which would have meant a total cost of $32. On top of that we have to buy their overpriced unhealthy food? No ... read more
My Review of newly renovated Imagine That: I really wanted to like the newly renovated space. I’m happy that they listened and cleaned the place up. However, I’m very disappointed. First off, staffing is horrible. I’m talking about a slow Tuesday. One person on the floor, who did not understand English enough to answer a mom’s question. Another person leaning over the front counter in a cell phone. Everyone else was MIA. The ideas for play areas are cute but using Melissa & Doug play kitchens, diner, checkout lanes was ... read more
We returned for my younger one's one-year old birthday party. Glad to see the museum was renovated to a cleaner and more spacious one. Our host Tony was the best! (He was also the host for my older one's one-year old party.) He is so accommodating that he even took the responsibility to feed the little birthday guy so that my husband and I can enjoy some time to catch up with the guests (and enjoy our food!). I have to admit that I didn't expect that at all. He even tried to start a casual and friendly conversation with the ... read more
Just visited renovated imagine that. It was nothing like original which wAs super cute for imagination play. All this is, is one giant room with a bunch of stuff (kitchens, toys, train tables) thrown in it... looks like giant basement in someone’s house. 50$ 4?family of 4 & will def not be back.
