I contacted Discount AC Parts because my compressor was leaking oil. I talked to the guys there and they literally walked me through what I needed for the repair, how to install the parts, the order process and method of delivery. The whole process was straight forward and concise. The parts arrived timely. The price was great and shipping was free via UPS ground. Once installed the A/C worked fine and gets quite cold. MY initial review was as follows "After three attempts Discount AC Parts appears to have gotten my order correct. The people are friendly but they DO NOT LISTEN WELL. I needed a replacement for a Seltec 488-47075 compressor. Twice the wrong one was sent. They did take the wrong one back without penalty but this has put my project 2 weeks behind waiting for the company to deliver the correct part. Dealing with Joe was so good, this company is getting all of my AC purchases from now on.
I have received the parts but have not installed yet. Shipping was very quick and easy. I do wish the O-rings for the a/c compressor were included. I assumed they were since there was not an option for the o-ring kit on your web site. No big deal I can get them locally. Maybe I just did not see them. I am pleased with the parts so far. will let you know if I have any issues when I get them installed.
Excellent experience! Had a problem with a part and customer service overnight shipped the part I needed! The AC system now blows ice cold and saved myself apx. $1200. Will be doing business with these guys in the future. Thank you!
