RecommendedThis year on July 4th we tried something new. My husband and I, along with our daughter, son in law and two grandsons, decided to take a private sailing charter. What a magical experience it was! Our grandsons, ages 6 and 4, had so much fun exploring the sailboat. They loved sitting out front under the sails and exploring below deck. We sailed for our first time with an excellent and friendly instructor. No pressure sales, just a relaxing ride on the ICW while we learned the parts of the sailboat, raised the sails, and tacked back and forth. Definitely do this again in the near future.

Just completed my ASA 103 course at St Augustine Sailing with 104 following in 3 weeks. I highly recommend them for training without reservation. The boats are perfect for training and instructor Chris provides more than enough opportunities to practice drills you will need to master the skills needed. Toste, Deborah, & Rose Ann go out of their way to make everything smooth & enjoyable. Our sunset charter was a wonderful experience! The booking process was a breeze, and the staff was friendly and professional (especially our captain, Finn!). Finn was not only professional and knowledgeable about the boat and history of the town, but also personable and made us feel right at home on the boat. St. Augustine Sailing earned all 5 of these stars. Insurance required additional training for us during the purchase of our new boat. With short notice and full classes, Toste was able to squeeze us in to a class. The classes themselves were wonderful. Captain Chris’s training style was stress free and patient and his deep knowledge was evident. We’ll certainly be back for additional classes. Thanks again for such a great experience.

We had the most amazing brunch sail with Chuck and RoseAnn just a few days ago. And where do I start?! From the moment you step on the boat to the time you get off, you are treated like royalty. RoseAnn greeted us with champagne or mimosas and there was a full spread of pastries, fruits (with banana dolphins!), yogurts, juices, etc all waiting for us when we boarded.
