After assuring me that I would receive the large truck that appears in their photos, a 20 ft box truck arrived with a different company name. They subcontracted my move. They sent 2 young men to move a 3 level house in August. They made 2 trips to the storage facility. Took them 11 hours and they were too exhausted to unload the 2nd trip. I had to trust them with the code to my storage unit to unload the next day. I was disappointed with the way my belongings were handled. I expected more care during the move.
The final experience didn’t match what I expected when I arranged the move. There were several avoidable issues
After using this company twice before, third time was not a charm. Broken items, haphazard handling of furniture and things they broke. I'm horribly disappointed. Their "basic" protection package is not even worth filing a claim with. The owner called me last week and said he'd call back that afternoon since it was an inconvenient time, never heard back, not even after I reached out to touch base. I recommended them often, but will no longer do so.
I was extremely disappointed with this moving company. The quoted price seemed reasonable at first, but once the move was underway, they added unexpected fees that were never clearly explained beforehand. It felt misleading and left me paying much more than I had agreed to. The lack of transparency made an already stressful moving day even worse. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for honest, upfront pricing. Be sure to get every charge in writing before hiring them.

If we sent an hourly estimate, and you had more stuff to move then what was on your estimate, and it takes longer then estimated, it’s the only way your estimate will increase. Overall did a decent job. I’m upset that they didn’t connect my washer and dryer to the connections. Moat movers I’ve used in the past have hooked up my appliances.
