wont stand behind the lifetime warranty. junk ramps broke at the welds.

Terrible to deal with staff have no idea what fits and what doesn’t.. return goods because of incorrect information provided at time of purchase.. pay return freight then get a return fee for your FU.
gen y hitch made it 43 miles hauling an empty trailer and it snapped in half. Your product could have killed people. The hitch should be one peace not two cold welded together. Your hitches have scared me for life when it come to towing. I bought it for peace of mind. my $30 hitch from harbor freight is better made and had been hauling for years without breaking. the gen y hitch couldn't handle my empty trailer.
Don’t use the hitches in the Winter with salted streets. I have two torsion 10K and 16K pound hitches. One has a lifetime purchased warranty purchased in 2018. Gen-Y is no longer warranting their coating even with a purchased warranty. They did in 2018. Today, they said they are no longer covering coatings. Seems like they know they will fail. I’ll contact my credit card company to chargeback for the purchased lifetime warranty.
RecommendedNot the best experience with returns and them shipping things on time. Don’t expect it to ship even when they send you shipping info and they don’t ship the package on time… also emailed them and they said they already shipped it.. I call, they tell me it hasn’t left their facility and won’t till NEXT WEEK 🤔 no clue what’s going on in Cali lol
PSA if you are in the market for a new hitch I would steer clear of @gen_y_hitch. Obviously from the photos it shows poor craftsmanship and they don’t stand behind their product. Luckily after this trailer dropped on the freeway it didn’t cause an accident or hurt anyone but it could’ve been much worse.
Spent close to $500 on our products within a year all the powder coat fell off and they said they won’t warranty it they said that happens all my other stuff that’s powder coated on my truck is fine
Don’t buy this product, after I spent almost $500 it rust after just over a year. I contacted head office and they refuse to help. They first said they would replace it as long as I pay for shipping and I agreed then a few days later they didn’t stand by there word and refused to help me. I don’t even use the hitch much and it’s nice seen snow. You can buy a similar product for less then half the price. Gen-Y HITCH dose not stand by there product. Shame on them.
Nice piece but way overpriced , they are others on the market that perform just as well and half the price.
