The 4 mile kayaking tour to the Emerald Cave was lovely. Kayaking through the Black Canyon was gorgeous! We saw a big horn sheep, a bald eagle, and bunch of water fowl. It was fabulous!! Jaden was a great tour guide too.
Ok, but not as the pictures looked. More like an alcove in the side of the cliff you back into about 15-20 feet. Very uncomfortable kayaks. Guide was very nice and knowledgeable, so that was a plus. For the price, better snacks should have been included, or a light lunch. Beautiful water on the river.
We had a wonderful day kayaking. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the river. He wasn't just a guide but was part of the group making every paddle enjoyment. He even got into the water fights with us. Throughly enjoyed the venture.
Awesome wry knowable if the flora and fauna. Concern all the time about the health of the kayakers.
Ryan and Pedra (sorry if I goofed on the names) were fantastic! Had a wonderful time.
We loved the tour! Our guide, Jayden, was knowledgeable about the area. We went early April and the weather was fantastic!! Definitely suggest for anyone interested in exploring more of the area!

Booked with Evolution Expeditions and paid extra for “trip protection”—complete waste of money. Their “protection” still requires cancellation by 11 AM the day before and offers zero help for same-day issues or no-shows. When we couldn’t make it, the outcome was identical to having no protection at all: no refund, no flexibility, no value. Call it whatever you want, but selling “protection” that doesn’t actually protect you when something unexpected happens is extremely misleading. Save your money—skip the trip protection
