RecommendedToday, we took our second food tour in two weeks with Cajun Food Tours. Once again, we had so much fun. Our tour guide, James, was amazing and told us all about the food history of many classic cajun foods, like gumbo and tasso. We sampled lots of delishes foods, from bread pudding to egg rolls stuffed with boudin and pepper jack cheese. We tried gumbo and fried alligator, too.
What a wonderfully delicious way to experience the food of Acadia (Cajun)! Marie, the owner and guide, took us on a nice tour bus ride throughout the area visiting local food establishments specializing in yummy cajun specialities...boudin, gator, oysters, cracklins, beignets, donuts, gumbo... all the while educating and entertaining us about the Lafayette area. We had so much fun on our very first food tour, it was a great way to sample the local cuisine and Marie was super knowledgeable about the history of not only the food but the area, would highly recommend and come hungry!!!

Wonderful food tour! My husband and I went for our anniversary and decided to go again with our 2 teenagers. Marie is very knowledgeable about the area and food and is a fantastic guide. The food selections are incredible as well. Definitely recommend if you are visiting the area and want a good taste of all of the favorite local dishes.

We took our first tour with Cajun Food Tours in Lafayette and really enjoyed it. Very clean and comfortable bus ride. Even though we are locals, the info Marie gave us about Lafayette Parish was really interesting. She was great and added humor to the tour also. The restaurants were 5 stars to me! Great food! I will definitely do another tour with Cajun Food Tours👍🏻👏
