"I ordered a stock alternator to replace my expired one in my corvette.... unfortunately the replacement was not getting the job done as I have all sorts of aftermarket electronics upgrades that draw lots of power from the battery (sound system, interior lighting, hid upgrades etc..)... faster than the alternator could charge it at idle... not really the fault of the alternator, my fault for not understanding what kind of ampage was required and that a higher output alternator would be needed for the demand of my electrical ... read more
