We had a large branch fall on the house during one of the recent storms. I had called another tree service company, that I was introduced via an Angies List Special. The did fine for me last year, but didn't return my call and would take over a week to get an estimate. Instead I called Winklers. They did a very nice job overall. They were professional and prompt with their response and completing the service.
I like their responsiveness. We’ve been using them for about five years.
This is a very professional outfit. They came out the same to day to bid the job, not once but twice after I had to modify our original request due to our village codes. I could not be home when they did the work but they did an excellent job, removing dead branches, suckers and shaping the canopies of the trees. Excellent in all ways. I've used Winkler before. Each time I'vc gotten other estimates but they always come in near the bottom and I have confidence in their judgements and work.
They did an excellent job. They were a little pricey. They did exactly what I asked them. They shaped everything real well. They did a good job so it was worth the money.
Arranged everything over the phone. Very professional and courteous. They surveyed the tree and bushes and left an estimate in our mailbox. Seemed like a very good price for what needed to be done. Once we gave the go-ahead, they performed the work quickly and without much ado. Even sent us a nice "thank you" card in the mail afterwards. Will definitely use them again.
Winklers is friendly and quick to respond. This is especially impressive due to the fact that this was around the time or the summer 2011 storms and they were very busy with other tree emergencies.
