The gold standard for fishing charters in the keys. We fish offshore a lot, both recreationally and tournament fishing and I can confidently say these guys really know their stuff. They're a great crew, you're guaranteed to have a good time. And they were able to put us on some real nice fish on a day a lot of other boats were getting skunked - including the sail that completed my royal billfish slam lifetime achievement award. We will definitely be fishing with them again next time we visit!
Family had so much fun on board the Southbound Friday! Caught plenty of fish and made alot of great memories! Captain Rich put us on the fish all day! Barbie was the best mate ever! Captain Rich and Barbie are THE BEST! Barbie is one of the hardest working people I've ever met - they don't call her Sailfish Barbie for nothing. We caught two sailfish (and lots of other fish) when no one else out there caught anything. Great people, great operation. Book here. Drink beer. Have fun!
Rich and his mate worked really hard to put us on fish. It was a slow day at first but things really picked up and was the most fish we’ve caught in a charter. I would definitely recommend Southbound charters for a good time offshore fishing.
Had such an awesome experience from the second we hit the docks captain Rich and Edward were right there to greet us! Captain rich was on point with talking to my little man and making sure where ever we went was going to be a good safe spot for little man. Edward was on point making sure all the rods and reels were ready to go and we had bait and were hooking up with lots of fish!
