The house, built in 1911, underwent a significant expansion, likely extended 1930’ to 40’. Notably, the foundation concrete slab contains no metal, a detail we were aware of and initially caused some concern. My wife and I own a house in West Seattle and before a remodel needed to raise a portion of our house to be able to replace windows and doors. Basically to true things up before the remodel. R&R crew were skillful and efficient. Kyle, the crew chief, kept us informed along the way and made sure the site was prepped prior to beginning construction and clean at the end of the day. Lift day was not without drama but their experience helped mitigate the inevitable challenges of lifting a foundation. I suggest that in the future they build into their concrete pavement replacement cost to include a base of crushed rock as the existing soil is not suitable to use directly under new concrete pavement. Good outfit.

R&R did some foundation reinforcement for our remodel. While they did a good job, I felt it was necessary to write a quick review to warn potential customers about the owner. We were provided a quote several months in advance of our project and accepted the bid so we could get on their calendar. One day prior to our project start date, I got a call and email telling me they messed up and understated the project, therefore I needed to sign the new bid TONIGHT so they could start the next morning.
