Wonderful accommodating surf lessons for my two sons (ages 12 and 16). They squeezed us in last minute, met us at a lovely beach with great waves (even though it was very windy!), and had all the right sized gear. Kaiea got both boys up multiple times and made it really fun. Highly recommend.
Eric and Sharkey were amazing. Eric was incredibly patient with my daughter (she’s never surfed before) and had her standing and surfing within minutes. His teaching style is very chill: no pressure or stress. Just easy to follow instruction and FUN. He arrived on time and communicated with us just prior to the lesson on where to meet (it can be busy along the shoreline). I highly recommend this company and Eric!! Sharky was my instructor for a one on one session, he was awesome! Sharky taught me about the ocean, how to read the waves, wave selection, surf etiquette, and coached me to get up on many waves! I booked my lesson as early as possible, 7:30am which was ideal, being that the beach got crowded quickly after that, so I was able to get in the water with my instructor before the crowds came and enjoy some waves to myself. We had a small group of four for surf lessons. Our surf instructor was Sharky. He was absolutely wonderful. We had a great time. Learned a lot about aloha, surfing, and connecting with the earth. We had an absolute blast and would do it again.
What a fun Sunday morning. The "on the beach" instruction was pretty basic which was fine, since our family has surfed before. But a quick refresher and we were off to the waves. The waves were decent and manageable for beginners. The biggest challenge was more with paddling out. If your shoulders or neck are weak, you won’t last long-just a heads up.
