Wonderful accommodating surf lessons for my two sons (ages 12 and 16). They squeezed us in last minute, met us at a lovely beach with great waves (even though it was very windy!), and had all the right sized gear. Kaiea got both boys up multiple times and made it really fun. Highly recommend.

Eric and Sharkey were amazing. Eric was incredibly patient with my daughter (she’s never surfed before) and had her standing and surfing within minutes. His teaching style is very chill: no pressure or stress. Just easy to follow instruction and FUN. He arrived on time and communicated with us just prior to the lesson on where to meet (it can be busy along the shoreline). I highly recommend this company and Eric!! What a fun Sunday morning. The "on the beach" instruction was pretty basic which was fine, since our family has surfed before. But a quick refresher and we were off to the waves. The waves were decent and manageable for beginners. The biggest challenge was more with paddling out. If your shoulders or neck are weak, you won’t last long-just a heads up. My daughter and I had a great time. Surf instructor Eric gave very simple clear instructions that worked. He was very friendly and fun to chat with while learning to surf. He got us both up on our feet successfully! Thank you Eric and Rivers To The Sea!

We had a great experience and we will come back for more tomorrow! San effortlessly flowed between our 6, 13 and 47 year old first timers. The 6 yo was probably the easiest!
