I've now taken two classes with Rainier, and I have to say, I am impressed. I've got firearms experience both civilian and military, and Rainier is top notch. Their outdoor range is pretty well established, and suits their classes well. Don is a great instructor, with plenty of knowledge and experience. Haven't had a bad experience yet. RSO's that actively enforce safety and range rules. Clean gun range, and maintained. Fair prices, small selection in store but digitally connected to the Rainier arms website. Great, on point training. Great instructors. Great league nights. And everyone entirely open and willing to help anyone be better at any skill level.
Fantastic facility, range, and top-notch, professional instruction! They offer introductory classes that build up to higher skill levels, and provide a safe, controlled environment for customers to build experience with fundamental skills, defensive considerations, competition shooting, and even first-aid training- all in the context of life as an American citizen. I’m a member, and lucky to live so close to such a great facility. A positive contributor to community values.
Today was my first time to ENJOY what Rainier Arms has to offer. I spent 10 years in the Marine Corps and didn’t have this much fun shooting automatic and semi-automatic weapons! GW has an amazing staff and if their training classes are anything like what I experienced today, you will have an amazing time and learn a lot to make yourself a better shooter and protector. Legit! This place is the real deal. My first time in this store was at my CHL class in what’s considered their Firearms Academy. I’ve taken other CHL classes on other states and Don Smith here did a top shelf class, covering all that’s required and then some. In the Firearms retail store, I was pumped to see I can count on them for nearly everything I want/need for self protection and recreational.
