My wife and I took the Handgun Orientation class today and loved it. It was important for us as newbies to grasp fundamental concepts before purchasing anything and Rainier did not disappoint. Ashley was an incredible instructor. She was knowledgeable, and most importantly, kind and patient with us as amateurs, and with the class as a whole. I've now taken two classes with Rainier, and I have to say, I am impressed. I've got firearms experience both civilian and military, and Rainier is top notch. Their outdoor range is pretty well established, and suits their classes well. Don is a great instructor, with plenty of knowledge and experience. Every experience feels uniquely tailored to individual needs, even in a group settings. The atmosphere is truly one of a kind. The team’s knowledge and expertise in coaching and skill development are worth every penny. They genuinely welcome feedback, continuously striving to improve and create the best environment possible. I struggled with opening the door to the bays and Don went out of his way to adjust the door to open with ease (Thanks Don!). The dedication and passion driving this team shows in everything they do!
This place is really impressive. I took a Concealed Carry class there, and it was absolutely worth it. Mike Miles is a great instructor! He was competent, engaging, and highly effective at teaching what you need to know to be a responsible armed citizen. That was the best 8 hours I could have spent.
Haven't had a bad experience yet. RSO's that actively enforce safety and range rules. Clean gun range, and maintained. Fair prices, small selection in store but digitally connected to the Rainier arms website. Great, on point training. Great instructors. Great league nights. And everyone entirely open and willing to help anyone be better at any skill level.
