Vomit on the mattress — and management refused a full refund We chose The Spinnaker based on family recommendations and drove five hours to get here. Upon check-in, my son jumped on the bed and discovered it was wet and smelling. I definitely would not recommend staying at South Beach Apartments. We checked in last Monday for what was supposed to be a 4 night stay and as soon as we went into the room and looked around, we know we couldn’t stay there. The room was absolutely disgusting. It had a foul smell to it, the toilet did not flush properly and there were dirty handprints all over the walls but the worst part was when we looked at the beds. This is what we found. Reference Madison Beach, great price, location, staff and offers. Room 210 it's where I stayed, fracture in sink, supports for commode seat were missing on one side allowing the seat to rest onto bowl, the shower had a secret drip for my 3 day stay. However that's not the worst, the worst was how filthy the carpets were, ruining 2 pair of compression stockings. Never again for the Madison Beach, the other properties may be nice.
