We highly recommend Oasis Alaska Charters for a fishing excursion. Our guide, Schuyler, was very knowledgeable about the area and about Alaska overall. His depth of experience made our experience even better. The staff at the dock made the shipping process even easier.
We came in on a cruise ship for the day in Ketchikan. We paid to have the shuttle pick us up and they were there waiting for us to get off the ship. We were on the water heading out within 30 minutes of getting off the cruise ship. Captain Dan had us on the fish the moment our lines were in the water. The 4 hours were absolutely incredible and every person in our party caught a multitude of fish and species. Couldn’t recommend using Oasis Charters more!
We had an amazing 4 hour salmon charter! Captain Skyler was very kind and patient as all 4 of us in the group were pretty inexperienced. My 12 year old son was able to reel in a few and had a great time. I would book with them again.
We are home from our trip, and Oasis was the best! Captain Hunter was so great with our family of six. He was knowledgeable and fun. We were picked up from our cruise ship dock. Forget crowds and waiting! A private charter with Oasis is the way to go! The owner’s wife was our driver and she was so sweet and helpful - such fun info about her city for the drive. We spent 3 days with Josh fishing for Salmon and Halibut. What an awesome experience. Wouldn’t change a single thing and would definitely book with Oasis again. I know fishing can be hit or miss but when other boats came into the dock with little to no fish, we came in with a boatload (literally). 3 days and over 300 lbs of fish after processing. Couldn’t be happier!
