Steve from Nerds to Go Alexandria was awesome. Steve gave me alternatives on how to install my new Google Nest Video Doorbell. Steve also explained all aspects of operation from charging, notifications from the camera and all the great things my Google Screen (not the correct terminology) can do and how to communicate with it…Hey Google! I will definitely call Nerds to Go Again! Making an appointment was super easy too! Thank you to Brian for helping me find a date that worked.
Called Nerds to go regarding my laptop being hacked into. They were very accommodating in having me bring it in. It didn't take them long to get to it. Bryan did a thorough check of it and found 2 programs that had been dowloaded on it to gain access and removed them. He also added virus software on it as well. The staff is very professional as well.
Steve from NerdsToGo arrived promptly and was great to work with. He was professional, intelligent, and provided great customer service. I would recommend NerdsToGo to anyone needing repair service on a host of technical products.
Ultimately I decided not to proceed with repairs, but the overall experience was still professional and worthwhile. I brought them my laptop and within less than a day they had opened it and provided an informed opinion on my repair options, including cost and likely outcomes. I chose not to proceed with a repair, but even when I picked it back up the next day they provided a helpful clarification of what they had found and what my remaining options were. Would recommend.
