I highly recommend Aaron Anderson, a Licensed Professional Counselor. Aaron has clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. He is a Military Veteran who works with individuals and couples from all backgrounds, treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental illnesses. I used to hate therapy. Cara (specifically) helped to change my mind with her open personality. I don't dread going to therapy, and she has helped me open up and is just a great therapist overall.
I have been seeing Debbie Phillips, she has been extremely helpful to me, while going through such a traumatic time in my life. Her knowledge, patience, and ability to examine any situation is profound. The solutions are very helpful, and easy to understand. I realize that she is my counselor, but I know that she really cares about you as a person. And she is in the fight with you. I very highly recommend Debbie Phillips.
Responded to me quickly, helped with insurance issues, and my therapist is super.
My daughter, a UVAstudent, was not happy with the therapist that she has seen in about five times. She has asked the office multiple times to send the bios of all of the therapist so she can choose another. She has never received that email. So I called the office and requested the email be sent to me, and I have still not received any information to choose another therapist. I am hoping somebody might read this on here and reach out to us
