Furniture shopping was such a joy back in the day, until the impact of online shopping, and slowly the joy disappeared... until I found Lux Furniture Gallery. This Herndon, VA store is a lovely, bright, well spaced and beautifully merchandised showroom without ridiculous pricing! Not bad, but not great either—a high price for what you get, and the quality doesn’t quite justify it. Don’t be fooled by the "Lux" name. It feels more like a typical furniture store than anything truly luxurious. Sure, you might find something you like, but to me, it didn’t have that upscale, European-inspired vibe. Honestly, it’s the same kind of stuff you’ll see in most standard furniture stores around the eastern U.S.

Best furniture shopping experience ever. After buying from another store, and the delivery failing to work out, we thought to try Lux. We worked with Matt who made sure to listen to our needs for our new king bed set, especially delivery/install needs due to our stairs, and also helped us find a dining room set. I came in to take a look at their "everything must go" sale as I was in the area and was shopping for a dining room tape set. I met Bryan, the sales staff, and he showed me around to see their selection. Their selection wasn't too bad but maybe the style that I was particularly looking for was not so popular.
