This Church has pros & cons, the best thing about Gateway Community Church / Harvest City Church is the accurate theology, they don't mislead souls. Sadly this Church has become a semi-closed club, they don't build community around the Church, it's a Sunday morning or Wednesday night only place. Their ministries are very limited and focused merely on "The Word", that's their strenght. They don't bother with local charity or community activities for the folks in need. I walked into the church knowing I was looking to become part of the body of Christ to serve and be served. My husband has stage 4 cancer and when I shared this with the greeters they immediately connected me with people who could relate. Pastor prayed over me before service and thr leaders of a fellowship class reached out to me to invite me to join them. They have since supported us wwihh the meals and prayer. . I’m overwhelmed and I know God has answered my prayers for a church home. Thank you Gateway!

My wife and I love this church. Very friendly and loving. Pastor Blake teaches from the Bible and doesn’t pull any punches about the truth of God’s Word. At the same time, he teaches with a heart of wanting all of us to grow in our relationship with God. Truth in Love. Our church family at Gateway is amazing. Fellowship is available with small groups. Kids of all ages are taught God’s Word in fun and exciting ways. This is our church home and we would love for anyone looking for a wonderful place to worship to come join us. ... read more

If you are looking for a church to call your home I encourage you to visit Gateway Community Church of Wylie. If you love worshipping, honoring, and serving God you will know you no longer have to search. We have such a welcoming loving family with a great pastor whom teaches straight out of God's word. Wonderful worship team, great youth and children's ministry and many opportunities to serve God together. Looking forward to meeting you soon! God's presence is fully and wonderfully felt.
