Freedom Solar's Sunpower panels are worth the extra money. The panels are highly efficient. Their installation processes are well honed and their team is experienced. They connected effectively with the local utilities company. With that said, their customer support staff can be overly reliant on their software, and not listen to the customer when there is a problem. We have been working with Freedom Solar since April 2023 and still do not have operational solar panels. We have had to repeatedly hound them at every step in order to get work and inspections completed. The panels are installed and look great on the roof, but there is still no word on permission to operate or estimated dates. We are now paying our full electric bills in addition to loan payments on these panels with no end in sight. 1 star is generous.
I had an outstanding experience with Freedom Solar, thanks primarily to Tony my salesman. His presentation was extremely professional and insightful, without being “ pushy “. Since signing the contract, communication from Freedom Solar has been very timely, and questions were answered without delay. After a nightmare contract with a Solar company that went out of business, and losing my deposit, I would highly recommend Freedom Solar.
We had a great experience with Freedom Solar. Nick Chavez was our consultant on the project. He helped us all the way through install and even after to make sure we were on track with what we wanted. It was about a year ago when I finally had my solar panels and Tesla batteries installed at my house. The whole process took a while for me due to permits, HOA, and inspections, but overall, I was satisfied with the work done by the installation team. They kept me informed about their progress and, to my relief, passed all the inspections with no issues.
