Stay away from this place, they’ve turned deception into an art. I participated to two auctions for items coming (supposedly) from Lowe’s. I bid on a Dyson vacuum cleaner, presented in its box as if it were new – but it was actually used, the head was covered with heavy scratches and the container was full of dirt. Listen to the reviews! I wish I would have read them prior to bidding on their items on Proxibid. They 100% participate in shill bidding. Shill bidding is the illegal practice of a seller or a seller’s acquaintances placing bids on his or her goods in order to drive up the price. From what I have read, it is illegal in most states, regardless if you put it in your terms. Despite what they say, they are not bidding on behalf of customers. It's totally obvious. I made a purchase in an auction on 9/26/23. I have contacted Dixon many times asking about the status of my item.. They finally got back to me just a while ago. Said they sent me an invoice to pay for shipping in my email.. There was no email about shipping. They sent a link via text today and I paid for shipping.. The shipping cost is Excessive and Exorbitant. Over 90 dollars for a 8lb item one state away. I will follow this up when I receive my item and report on the condition. And the time it took me to receive it.
