I can't say enough about how well I was treated by Hopkins Auto Body. My car had hail damage and I received a really low estimate from Liberty Mutual. Hopkins auto body dealt with the insurance company and made sure it paid out what was necessary to repair my vehicle. When I received my car back, it looked new and had even been detailed inside. Work on vehicle looks good but not sure exactly what all was fixed. The estimate is all acronyms so I didn't understand all the details. No one walked me through the work when I picked up the vehicle either. There was one thing I asked to be fixed when I got my estimate and it wasn't done. I wanted the 2nd row driver's side window shade replaced since it had been removed when broken glass was replaced in Memphis after a break-in.
The work was fine, but service was not good. I heard over and over during the course of three weeks from the person assigned to my case that he would call me for an update, and he never did once. I had to call him repeatedly the day after he said he'd call to get any sort of update. I was never given any sort of estimate of time from the day I dropped off the car until the day before I picked it up. Super frustrating.
As always, the quality of work was excellent. In the past, I have given them 5 stars. I’m taking away a star this time because the original estimate was $1,667 but the final cost ended up being $2,099. I could understand some additional costs, but this was unexpected, and seemed pretty high to me.
