While the intended purpose of the job was completed, they left my yard looking like a wasteland. Honestly this wouldn't really bug me as I knew what I was signing up for. I chose the most affordable package and therefore don't get the benefit of having guys come back out and till it down. That's not why I'm leaving this review. Why I'm leaving this is for 2 reasons. 1 is the old addage, 20 minutes of work now can save 5 hours later. Great experience. They took all the time I asked for to explain how my well worked, what they were doing and why. The well is over 25 years old and we had not had it inspected for over 10 years. We had a new well system and UV water treatment device installed. We now have no bacteria in our water, per independent testing, and our water pressure is stronger than ever.
I contacted C&J to get an additional well on our property so we could add water in a pole barn. They were well informed and courteous on the phone. All calls I made to them with questions were returned within a timely manner. They came out in December and drilled the well. Then I wasn't in a hurry for the rest, so they asked if they could wait until the holidays were over, which was fine with us. Very much enjoyed these guys. Fantastic company and employees. My well pump died on me, and unfortunately, it was buried long before I ever moved in. I had a general area I figured it was at, but they ran their equipment to make sure. Once pinpointed, they were able to get the pump up to code, making it far easier to maintain, and made sure the entire system was pressurized with the the bladder tank. During the visit, the representative seemed more focused on promoting his own personal side businesses rather than addressing the reason why I had sought the services of C & J Well in the first place. This experience left me with concerns regarding the integrity and professionalism of the company as a whole since their representative tried to engage me in business transactions outside the purview of C & J Well.
