I’m not a mechanic…so I called the 800# to make sure I was ordering the right stuff. A young man helped with my questions, ensured I had the right part number, and was very friendly.
Parts are there and available and to upgrade to a better warranty is really nice. Especially if you run a business where you plan to sale the vehicles once the warranty is close to done.

The Mustang II rack and pinion I ordered was delivered very quickly however, I encountered issues with it. It was not a direct fit replacement as stated. The mounting bushings were not correct. I had to use the ones that were on my old unit. The mounting holes were not in the correct position either. I had to slot the mounting holes on the vehicle frame in order to shift the rack to give proper clearance for the u-joint on the steering shaft. The steering u-joint interfered with the frame if mounted to the car as furnished.
