I tried 5 times to get the site to give me the discount and use Pay Pal, it in no way in hell would let me do it. I called about it, and they said they could do it over the phone, but I feel paranoid about putting my number out there. I figured typing it in myself was the lesser of 2 evils. I also chatted about it, and they said I wouldn't know til I tried. I pay for almost everything with PayPal so it **** me off when I couldn't here.
One screen gave a built date from engine but the car was 2005 so it should not say 12/03/03
Poor website and customer service
I'm a tech at a BMW Factory dealer, even with my employee discount the price for a new steering rack wasn't even close to BuyAutoParts.
I have been looking for REAR shocks for months now. Coming to terms with them not being sold seperately kind of hurts, but I was able to get a full set for less than $200, so I guess it was worth it. I was even able to find a coupon code for my item, hopefully it worked because I did not see it taken off on my PayPal receipt.
I don't like being forced to respond
I placed an order for a steering rack with BuyAutoParts through their Amazon site. I received notice that the part shipped on 7/3, and would arrive between 7/11 and 7/16. When I look up the UPS tracking number, the status I get is that the shipment was voided within minutes of it supposedly being shipped. I have tried contacting BAP through Amazon and the email contact on their site, but I cannot get anyone to respond to me. Would not let me get the $15 discount and pay through PayPal had to use separate credit card
Ordered and paid $350 for part June 11 with 5-7 day delivery promise. It is now July 11th, I have made 3 calls (waited over an hour on all 3 calls) and still NO part and they can't find it. They claimed to have returned my money to PayPal. No money in there yet. I re-ordered the part on line again. Let's see what happens. and ,, their Live Chat does not work. the only reason I gave one star is the system does not let me give zero. "Birdy"
