I purchased two turbos for my Ford F-150 (SO-0501964). The driver's side turbo started making noise so I took my truck to my automotive shop and called ButAutoParts to have them send out a replacement Turbo since it was within their 12-month warranty (SO-0688356). When the mechanic replaced the turbo he let me know when the turbo failed it threw metal throughout my engine. He also let me know the passenger's side Turbo was failing also. I wanted to talk to a sells person to order this heavy part - 1978 ford F150 power steering box . Try 3 times and told to leave a message ! So by it saying part for the pickup up above and pictures - I took a change and ordered on line . Not got put on hold either . You must have only one person working or on break today . Three turbo chargers in less then 20k miles on my truck all have the same failure. Seal leaking and consuming oil.... First one replaced on 9-10-18 second one replaced on 11-2-18 third one failed on 4-30-19 All three had the same issue. My truck has not had 20k miles on it since the first one was replaced. These are suppose to last a few 100k miles. Not every two to five months. Lets not forget every time one fails I have to pay a technician to replace it.
