Great spot - convenient location (with easy parking), clean, and super friendly hosts! This was our first time at this location and I was impressed… it may have been the friendly and chill vibe or it may have been the beer doorbell (Upland!), it’s still up for debate. Either way, stop in - get a great haircut from any of the barbers - and enjoy yourself! Took my 12 year old son to get a cut by Noah. The shop was nice, welcoming and clean, but that cut was cleaner!! My son won’t stop looking in the mirror 🤣. He will only go to one place, to get his cut by one person… Noah is clearly well versed with all ages and styles of hair.. he was patient and caring! Definitely recommend this shop and Noah!!
Hallelujah! I found my Barbershop home! Relaxed, friendly and caring- this place is such a refreshing change from the franchise sport choppers where every time i would go in, there would be someone new. Noah really did a thorough job. Great haircut in a relaxed setting.
I needed a beard trim and Black Orchid was recommended to me by a friend. I easily booked online and set an appointment with Cody. When I arrived at the shop, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the shop and friendliness of the staff. Cody was very nice and communicative, his attention to detail was awesome and my beard never looked so good!
Before I found Black Orchid Barbers, I was plagued for years of bad haircuts at random barbershops all around Indy. I'm not from around here, so I figured that the quality of haircuts around here was poor and I needed to accept that reality. However, a few years ago, a kind Redditor recommended that I try Black Orchid. I'm biracial (half black/half mexican) and have a unique hair type that seems to stump more barbers than not.
