All the guys at Black Orchid are top notch barbers/cosmetologist. I had really great experience. Finding someone who understands how to cut and style hair for someone with alopecia can be difficult, but the barbers here were incredibly skilled and respectful. I have never laughed so hard in my life as I did when I saw my spouse’s haircut. It genuinely looked as if it had been done by someone who shears sheep — and does so blindly. This is the first time I am compelled to leave such a negative review. The haircut my spouse received today at your salon demonstrates a striking level of unprofessionalism. Tanner is such a great guy who makes me feel heard and understood as I've been exploring my journey of growing my beard and hair out long. The building itself is nicely decorated and It feels like a luxury experience every time I go! Worth it!!
DO NOT GO TO CLAY, HE WILL MESS YOU UP. I told him “I want my hair to still curl but get it out of my face.” By the time he was done there was not a curl left on my head. Not only that but he entirely missed spots on the back of my head and sideburns, while also leaving the front uneven. Seemed like he didn’t care at all, just wanted to get me out the door. I really like this barbershop and the barbers who work there. They greet you cordially every time you’re there nice conversation but most of all, one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had by Tanner. Tanner is really good. Listens to the type of haircut you want makes notes that he refers back to every time you visit just couldn’t be any better
