Great vibe all around, 10/10 cuts every single time. Totally recommend Damien. on the more premium side but totally worth it, these people care about your hair and not getting you out the door.
EDIT: since my initial review I have had correspondence with the owner of Black Orchid, Travis, and his is aware of the noise issue and is actively trying to resolve the problem. I am bumping my review up to 4 stars. Again my only issue is the music which is not Black Orchids fault but it does affect your experience while you are there. Butchered my beard trying to do it myself, think 2 year old left alone with scissors. Jason worked his magic and all is better. I've had many barbers at Black Orchid and NEVER have had a complaint. They are the only group I trust my beard to in Indy!
This was my first visit to Black Orchid. Easiest thing I’ll say all day, Damien was awesome. It’s been several years since I had a professional take care of my hair and I don’t regret it. Both stylists were conversational, polite and listened to the patrons needs. Damien specifically had great focus, took his time and did an absolute amazing job! I really couldn’t be happier with the outcome and I will most definitely be back! Thank you!
I have super short hair. The person that usually cuts my hair had a huge back injury. I don't just trust anyone with a pair of clippers to fade me like that, but Lucy jumped in there and did a great job!!! Would definitely see her again!!!
