Excellent care as always. We've been going to Bellevue Vision Clinic for over a decade and always appreciated the care and service we have received. The Woodinville location is particularly convenient for us from Kirkland.
Dr. Clayton was excellent; however, there was an issue with billing. Before the appointment, I was clearly told that my insurance was accepted. After the examination was completed, I was informed that the provider is in-network only for eye emergencies, not for routine checkups. As a result, I was charged 80% of the cost and had to pay $256 out of pocket for a simple routine checkup, which has always been fully covered for me for many years at other locations. Please be aware of this issue.
I did not like deceptive post-visit emails. They had this subject "Reminder: Follow up to your appointment at Bellevue Vision Clinic" but when you open the email, it is asking for you to provide a review on Google.
Needed a quick fix on some eyeglasses. Stopped in and was told by their optometrist it was against their company policy to help. Too bad as not only was this bad customer service but I need new lenses and would’ve likely given them my business. Dr. Hamza is Very professional, friendly, and very experienced . Very good explaining of results from eye evaluations. Lorenzo in the optical department in Bellevue is terrific if you need glasses!
